BMW 3 series 325i
A common problem with young and old timers is rust formation. Over time, a small spot can quickly grow into a large rust hole. What you see is often just the tip of the iceberg and there may be an underlying larger problem. The only effective solution is usually to remove everything and weld in a new piece of metal.
In particular, the jack points, wheel rims, battery box, the A-pillar/windshield wiper connections and bulkheads are well-known places where rust likes to settle. This is clearly visible on the E30; what initially looked like a small scab turned out to be hiding a significant amount of rust underneath. This has been thoroughly addressed so the car is now ready for the next +30 years!
A nice detail of this BMW is that the original factory option list is present, see the advertisement for more information.
